Diagonal Burr (94 pieces)
The original version of this puzzle had longer pieces in the center of both sides. It was made in the trenches of World War II in Finland by a soldier named Iisakki Huttu. It won a trench art competition in 1972, and thus became known by Matti Linkola, who made copies of the puzzles for the IPP.
Maurice Vigouroux reduced the length of some pieces in order to flatten the design, and made a unique copy in pine, shown here.
