Boron, with it's level 5.4 solution, was designed by Donald Osselaer to appeal to both beginners and more experienced puzzlers.
While the disassembly is easy enough, the reassembly can still prove a nice challenge.
It's somewhat inspired by the classic Vernon Wood Puzzle but with 6 pieces in the center.
Donald Osselaer made a puzzle named Aluminum in 2002 that is of the same basic principle, although much more complex and of level 13.4, but that puzzle was never mass produced.
In contrast, the pieces of Boron are deliberately kept very simple and completely notchable.
