He has created over 160 designs of 18-piece burr (i.e. Tiros), most of them being progressive steps in the search of the highest possible number of moves. For the time being, the record is held by the Burrly Sane for Extreme Puzzlers of Jack Krijnen, with 152 moves needed to free the first piece of the puzzle. Alfons Eyckmans' Tiros is second, with 150 moves. Both puzzles are based on the same initial design.
