The Top Ten was designed so as to feature the highest possible number of moves. It has been holding the record for more than one year until Donald Osselaer raised the level to 348 moves for the first piece, and 717 for all the pieces with the Millenium. Then, Frank took the first place again with 365 moves for the first piece with the New Year 2C12. These numbers are valid for a given category of burrs that is not very well defined. The Kugellager 7, for example, or the MMMDXLVI, require respectively 4802 and 3546 moves to open. Though technically, they are not burrs, they could easily be turned into burrs replacing the metal parts with equivalent cubic ones in wood.
