Objective
Fold the captive plates in order to rearrange the messed up figure on the back of the puzzle

The original version features 8 square plates. The initial configuration is a 2x4 rectangle with three free rings. The final configuration is a cornered 3x3 square with three interlocked rings (drawn on the other side of the plates).

The plates are held together with strings running into diagonal grooves, which allow them to fold around a common edge. This edge can be changed when the plates are piled up and the strings change sides. The puzzle can thus be fold into many different 3D shapes.

Various editions exist with different pictures on them.
