After many years of neglect I'm now sorting out my puzzle drawer. Each week I'm solving, putting together, disentangling or whatever a different puzzle. This one has me stuck - there are 12 identical pieces and 6 other pieces, 2 of which are the same. Any ideas how this goes together?

It's a standard 18 piece burr with 1 assembly and a level 1.1.2.2.1.1.2 solution. If you're familiar with BurrTools you'll easily find how to assemble.
Good luck!

Many thanks, I was slowly coming round to the idea that it was a burr, but also realised I had no idea what it looked like originally.
