Well well, it took me over an hour to find my real lock code: 35780 (if you own my lock plate, please let me know!-).
Next time I want to open my Angel box I'll read this forum topic first (note to admin: do not edit this post).

The rest was done fairly quickly, except for the part where I forgot to use the little thingy, and kept wondering how to move the big thing further in order to access the springy thingy.

This is a great puzzle box, very nice sequence of discoveries.

I unpacked mine today and got the first stage done, ie the digital lock.

I have Box number 24, the plate code is 1348, and the actual opening combination is 2467.

Now to work on the rest of it....

edit:

Solved it :D what a great design. Really enjoyed that one. Has anybody rung the number yet ?

Yes, I did ring the number. I got some lady on the phone, who couldn't really understand me and vice versa. I looked the code up and this could be Vatican city, as Wil suggested in another e-mail.
No added value there, apart from harassing a nun (possibly).

For (in)completeness, box #1 belongs to Wil himself.
Let's give him an account on this forum so he can post his lock & plate codes...
(seriously, let's do that).

Hi Everyone,

You can add me to the list. My box is #13, the code plate number is 2378, and my lock's number is 1246. Looks like there are a number of us with 1246 on the lock...

Oh! And I given some of the discussion, I should mention that with my lock there was a way to divine - let's keep in theme of the puzzle ;) - the code without trying all possible combinations. I mentioned how I had done this in my email to Wil, and he seemed to approve of my method. So I take that as a good sign. :) Don't know if it is something that works for all of the locks of this design. And I won't post what I did, of course, because others haven't solved the entire puzzle yet.

However the lock which is on my Angel box has 10 toggle switches but no plate on it.
I have no clue about its unlock code, not even how many digits... Thanks Wil!
It is I who actually have the 2348 plate :-)
And my lock code is 1578 .

Welcome to the forum Metalmork & Guy.

Glad to see you have joined in on this thread and extending the link between these puzzles. I hope we get to see a few more fill in the gaps.
