Guilty guy!
I also added the 35 to my code and subtracted 35 from it.
I also pushed all the numbers because it says Digital (Digit all)
I also tried all the combinations in reverse (all the required pins in, then the required pins out?)

So who else wants to admit random/OCD/trial&error methods
Push, pull, twist, slide...........open! :)

I'm guilty of all of the above!

...there was NO WAY I wasn't going to try that code - can you imagine how smug Strijbos would have been if he'd given us the codes and we ignored them!?!

Started randomly popping numbers and trying it but then quickly decided that I needed to check all the 4-digit codes (because the code plate had four digits on it...) and then just bashed through them...

I took the plate code and subtracted puzzle number and Bingo! Shame it was a fluke!

I told Wil I am into lockpicking a bit and that I would try to crack it as well. So after I opened the lock in the normal way with the correct digital code I tried this. Normally, a lock like this can be cracked with a very thin metal feeler. My feeler is too broad though, so I haven't succeeded in doing this yet. Will keep trying of course, have to crack it again.

This is not the accepted way to open the lock! :D

Lock plate 1246, lock code 2348.

However the lock which is on my Angel box has 10 toggle switches but no plate on it.
I have no clue about its unlock code, not even how many digits... Thanks Wil!

Is it bad that I would like to partner up my lock with its plate?
