I'm also in agreement guys.

I think it will be interesting to see who gets linked to who. Also I think it's good to keep the original puzzle as it was intended.

I just hope that we manage to fill the whole list. That in itself would be a huge achievement.
Push, pull, twist, slide...........open! :)

Hi guys, my box number is #6. The digital code on the plate is 2678 and my lock combination is 2356.
I thought Wil had put a hint in his e-mail (floors 2^ and 5^) and worked from there. Just lucky I heard  .
But it's only 70 possibilities all in all as far as I can make out, so easy to solve anyway.
Cheers,
Peter

I think I agree with the thought that the plates should be left with the boxes they came with. It confused me in the beginning, so that is a good thing (for a puzzle). I must have tried out the wrong combination 3 times at least before I found out I had been duped.

Ok, since we're admitting that we thought the code on the plate should be the code on the lock... who else tried entering the code from the back of the lock? I tried that a few times too... just to make sure

It's done! :D What a wonderful work of engineering! I loved it!
I haven't dared tell Mrs S how much it cost!!!

My puzzle number is 21
The code on the plate is 1268 (Allard has this too!)
The combination for my lock is 1247

Who's got my plate then?

...just added Shane's numbers - one of which matched the other one I was looking for, so I done! :-)

No, it matches the one that already matched Peter's... you still need to find who's plate you (and Kevin) have :P
