Hi Puzzle-Place fans,

Valentine's Day feels like the perfect day to announce this new puzzle.

Sixth Sense is a puzzle ring invented by Bram Cohen. Following the detailed instructions of PuzzleRingMaker Jeff Bell, a.k.a. Vardan, I made a 3D model of the puzzle which was 3D-printed by Shapeways. Jeff used this 3D printed as cast-off master for producing samples made of silver, which he polished to perfection. The puzzle feels very nice to play and it is quite challenging to solve. I have solved it twice now. Also, it looks extremely beautiful. It is highly recommended, even for non-puzzle specialists.

Here is some background. In 2007, Bram came up with this recipe to design puzzle rings. He showed the recipe to me in 2009, resulting in this 3D-printed plastic version of Sixth Sense. Early 2014, Stan Isaacs mentioned PuzzleRingMaker Jeff Bell to me at a local San Francisco puzzle party, and he established the contact between Bram, Jeff and me. After several rounds of 3D design and prototyping, we finally have this perfectly looking and perfectly playing metal puzzle ring that Bram conceived over seven years ago.
