Re: Livecubes

They're okay but having made a few shapes with them, including Rich Gain's "Three Easy Pieces" (because I had a copy of Neil's next to me at the time), I've found that its really easy to accidentally un-join pieces. Maybe there's a knack in joining t...

Re: Problems & Issues

We had a spammer slip through the net  They posted generic messages in numerous topics, but the posts (and user) have now been deleted.

Re: Karakuri boxes available!

Argh! I should resist as it's so close to IPP, but you know what I'm like with puzzle boxes... email sent...

Having bought from merlin a few time previously on Paradise, I can vouch that that the items I've bought have always been in great condition and always been sent quickly & well packaged.

Re: Stickman Reproductions

If the puzzles are the same then they shouldn't need a different pages. I'd just add yourself as another manufacturer and list the quantity you make seperately under the "Limited" section.

Re: 5th french puzzle meeting

Yeah! I'm looking forward to getting the tweezers out and having a go at this.
I've been tempted by Allan Boardman's puzzles in the past but it's always concerned me that sharp tweezers might damage the wooden pieces - the larger brass pieces here should make it good fun

Re: Hexsticks, plans? angles?

I don't have a copy of this myself but I'm fairly certain that I have solved a copy once when I visited Allard's place. I think you're right about how the puzzle finishes... I think all of the variations of these puzzles finish in that way. Do the photos on the Hectix Revisited page help at all sinc...

Re: 5th french puzzle meeting

Thanks for the write-up (and pictures) of your puzzle meetup. It seems you had quite a range of puzzles there!
I'm impressed with Maurice's 18-piece mini-burr! The notches must be tiny - I'd love to see a close up of the pieces
