Are you trying to do this as an exercise or because you're trying to get a 0.6.3 binary for OSX? If it's the latter, then did you know that it already exists on sourceforge?

Sorry this has taken a while... due to lack of time and having suitable acrylic offcuts to produce all the pieces I didn't manage to get this laser cut. Nice! If I get time tomorrow I'll run a copy off on the laser cutter and have a play :D Extreme Torture is one of my favourites. It's one of the first burrs I played with quite a bit when I first got into puzzling. I learnt the solution by heart and used to time myself on disassembly and reassembly....

That's an interesting one. They're not pieces I immediately recognise but 12 pieces doesn't sound unreasonable for a sparse burr. Burrtools is yet to give me an assembly for these pieces...

I agree with Jack about the wax. It always seems to give a nice finish and it seems to be what most of the 'top' makers use to finish their creations. I've used it on a few really cheap mass-produced puzzles and it always makes them much nicer.

The third number is the code you needed to unlock the padlock on the front you your puzzle. From the list that Wil has just sent through to me, your code was 1478

The numbering system of Wil's bolts is sometimes inconsistent. Can you describe any feature it has without giving any clue to the solution? I assume you've tried contacting Wil?
