"My latest puzzle box, the 51 Pound box, has been about six months in the making. I thought up the design a long time ago, but it took a while to figure out the mechanics involved in implementing the concept. Each puzzle is supplied with one pound - the other 50 you must provide yourself! Painstakingly handcrafted from the finest materials, the box features some very nice inlay and intersting stepped miter joinery on the edges of the shell box. Custom internal mechanisms were hand milled from solid bar stock aluminum and took several weeks alone to make. While some of the mechanism is viewable once the box is solved, this box has a new feature I am trying for the first time. Inside each box is a card which explains how to close it, and also has a web address to a password protected directory. Owners who solve the box will be able to access the page, which contains a detailed history and explanation of the concept and design. Also featured are pictures of the full mechanism, taken before the box was fully assembled. Finally, I will also scan and post the design and shop notes I relied on while crafting the box.

Each 51 Pound Puzzle Box is signed and dated by the artist. This box does contain powerfull magnets, and as such should be kept away from mechanical watches, credit cards, sensitive electronic equipment and pacemakers. For obvous reasons, I would definitely keep it away from any electromagnetic thermonuclear detonators you may have laying about." -Eric Fuller
